The Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy hosted a vibrant Garba Night to celebrate the joy of dance, music, and togetherness. Students and faculty came dressed in colorful traditional attire, filling the evening with rhythm, energy, and festive spirit. The event beautifully reflected cultural unity as everyone danced in harmony to the beats of Garba, creating an atmosphere of happiness and celebration.
The Teachers’ Day Celebration at Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy was organized with a fun and creative theme — “Anything but not a Teacher.” The unique dress code encouraged participants to dress in any style except that of a teacher, leading to a colorful and entertaining atmosphere. Teachers were invited to introduce themselves in the most creative way possible, whether through a song, poem, dance, or sharing a quirky fact about themselves. The celebration also featured fun games and interactive activities, making it a lively and memorable day filled with laughter, appreciation, and joy.
The celebrations concluded with Visarjan Day, where students and faculty bid farewell to Lord Ganesha with heartfelt devotion. It was an emotional moment filled with gratitude and joy, as everyone said goodbye with a heavy heart, praying and hoping to welcome Bappa again next year with the same enthusiasm and spirit.
The festivities continued with Mahaprasadam Day, a special occasion where students and faculty came together to share and enjoy a sacred meal as a mark of gratitude and unity. The day reflected the true essence of togetherness, devotion, and community spirit, as everyone participated in the distribution and sharing of prasad with joy and reverence.
A glamorous Bollywood Day was organized as part of the AROHA 2025 celebrations, where the dress code reflected vibrant Bollywood styles and celebrity-inspired looks. The day was filled with fun and interactive activities such as a Bollywood quiz, Antakshari, ramp walk, fun games, and lively performances. Students enthusiastically participated, showcasing their creativity, confidence, and star-like presence. The event concluded with special awards for the best dressed participants and winners of various competitions, making it a memorable and entertaining day for everyone.
A Food Fest was organized where students set up food stalls offering a variety of dishes. The event showcased the students’ creativity and teamwork as they prepared and served different cuisines, adding flavor and excitement to the celebrations.
Yugantar- Rangmanch, a special cultural event organized by Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Ayurvedic, was a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity, and expression through music and dance. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their talent, artistic expression, and passion for performance, featuring a series of captivating dance acts and musical presentations that reflected the spirit and unity of the college community.
The celebration of Traditional Day added a touch of cultural elegance to the AROHA 2025 festivities. Students and faculty arrived dressed in beautiful sarees and kurtas, showcasing the rich heritage and diversity of Indian culture. The campus was filled with vibrant colors, cheerful smiles, and festive energy as everyone celebrated the spirit of tradition, unity, and pride.
A series of engaging activities such as a Treasure Hunt and a Debate Competition were organized to boost participation and teamwork among students. The Treasure Hunt added an element of excitement and adventure, as students collaborated in teams, solving clues and exploring the campus to find hidden treasures. This activity encouraged problem-solving, communication, and team spirit.
Following this, the Debate Competition provided a platform for students to express their opinions and sharpen their public speaking and critical thinking skills. Participants confidently presented their arguments on various thought-provoking topics, creating an atmosphere of healthy discussion and intellectual exchange.
After these stimulating events, the celebrations continued with the lively Twinning Day, where students came dressed in pairs or groups with matching outfits. The event featured entertaining acting and dance performances, and to add more enthusiasm, fun games such as the push-up challenge and sit-up challenge were conducted, making the day a perfect blend of creativity, energy, and enjoyment.
Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy organized its annual cultural event “AROHA 2025” on 28th August 2025. The event showcased vibrant dance and singing performances by students, celebrating talent and creativity. The program commenced with a Ganpati dance performance, invoking blessings of Lord Ganesha, followed by a series of mesmerizing performances that filled the atmosphere with energy and enthusiasm.
Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Ayurvedic celebrated the arrival of Lord Ganesha with great enthusiasm. The college organized a vibrant Ganpati Sthapna ceremony, marked by energetic drum beats and traditional dance performances, creating a festive and devotional atmosphere across the campus.
On 21st June 2025, students from Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy, Nagpur, celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm. The event began early in the morning with a group yoga session led by experienced instructors. Students performed various yoga asanas promoting physical and mental well-being. Educational talks and demonstrations highlighted the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life. The celebration concluded with a pledge to continue practicing yoga for a healthier lifestyle.
On 13th June 2025, a fitness assessment camp was conducted at GMMCO, Nagpur. The event was organized to promote health awareness and evaluate the physical fitness of employees. Various assessments such as BMI measurement, flexibility tests, strength evaluation, and cardiovascular endurance checks were performed. Physiotherapy professionals guided participants and provided personalized fitness advice based on their results. The initiative was well-received and encouraged employees to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
On 10th June 2025, the MUHS Foundation Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the DMCOP campus. The event began with a welcome speech followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Students and faculty participated in various cultural performances and activities to mark the occasion. Guest speakers highlighted the achievements and vision of MUHS over the years. The celebration fostered a sense of pride and unity among all attendees.
On 16th May 2025, an oath-taking ceremony was held to observe International Road Safety Week. Students and faculty members gathered to pledge their commitment to following and promoting road safety rules. The ceremony emphasized the importance of responsible driving, wearing helmets and seatbelts, and avoiding mobile phone use while driving. Educational messages and posters were also displayed to spread awareness about road safety. The event aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and encourage safer behavior on roads.
On May 9, 2025, Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy, in collaboration with the Composite Regional Centre (CRC), organized a webinar to observe World Thalassemia Day. The event aimed to spread awareness about thalassemia and the supportive role of physiotherapy in improving patient quality of life. Experts from both institutions delivered insightful talks on the condition, its challenges, and management strategies. Participants were educated on the importance of regular exercise, mobility training, and respiratory care in thalassemia patients. The webinar was well-attended and served as an informative platform for students and professionals alike.
On 23rd April 2025, Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy organized a Gender Ratio Fitness Awareness Program at Nagalwadi. The event was conducted in collaboration with the Nagalwadi Grampanchayat to promote health awareness and gender equality. Physiotherapy faculty and students engaged the community through fitness demonstrations and informative sessions. The program emphasized the importance of equal health opportunities for all genders and encouraged active lifestyles. On April 17, 2025, Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy, in collaboration with the Composite Regional Centre, Nagpur, observed Haemophilia Awareness Day. The event aimed to spread knowledge about haemophilia and the importance of physiotherapy in its management. A highlight of the program was an engaging skit performed by the students, which creatively portrayed the challenges faced by individuals with haemophilia. The skit emphasized preventive care, safe physical activity, and the role of physiotherapy in enhancing quality of life. On April 9, 2025, the Department of Pediatrics at Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy, Nagpur, organized an event to observe Autism Awareness Day. On March 8, 2025, at 9 AM, Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy organized the campus Walkathon 2k25 to increase awareness of International Women’s Day. teaching, non-teaching staff, and students from all of the colleges, including Datta Meghe Medical College, Datta Meghe Ayurvedic Medical College, Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy, Datta Meghe College of Nursing,Shalinitai Meghe College of Nursing and Nagpur College of Pharmacy, In addition to giving teachers and students a chance to socialize, get moving, and develop a sense of community, the walkathon seeks to promote an active and healthy lifestyle within our campus community.

Mr. Bhujng Bobade is an esteemed scholar, museum expert and heritage conservationist with over 16 years of experience in teaching, administration and museum curation. Dr. Bhujang Ramrao Bobade is an esteemed scholar, museum expert, and heritage conservationist with over 16 years of experience in teaching, administration, and museum curation. As the Director of the Heritage Foundation (India, USA, Thailand, and South Korea), he has played a pivotal role in safeguarding and promoting India’s rich cultural and historical legacy. A prolific author, he has written 23 books, including three encyclopedias, with 14 of his works included in university syllabi. His publications cover a vast range of subjects, from museum preservation and archival studies to Indian history and cultural heritage. With a deep commitment to heritage conservation and knowledge dissemination, Dr. Bobade continues to shape the future of India’s historical and cultural scholarship through research, policy advocacy, and educational leadership.
On 2nd February 2025, interns, postgraduates, and staff members from Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy, Nagpur, volunteered at the Mahamarathon organized by Lokmat. Their dedicated involvement greatly contributed to the event’s success. The volunteers provided essential physiotherapy services to participants after the run. These services included cool-down sessions, stretching routines, and pain relief techniques. The initiative was well-received and showcased the college’s commitment to public health and fitness.

Every member of the teaching and non-teaching staff as well as the students that participated made today a day of gratitude.

On December 18 and 19, 2024, Dmcop organized a state-level sporting event called “EMBERS 2K24,” which was coordinated by Dr. Sachin Chaudhary, Principal DMCOP and Dr. Muzahid Sheikh, Associate Professor Department of Neuro .More than 200 Students from different colleges have participated in the event, which included games like chess, carrom, football, lagori, volleyball, cricket, and more. The event went off without a hitch.

DATTA MEGHE COLLEGE OF PHYSIOTHERAPY organised a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on improving mobility in chronic stroke patients – use of Botolinum toxin injection along with physiotherapy treatment conducted on 31/12/2024 at class room no. 1. And it has been attehnted by 50 enthusiatic students. The program is aimed to enhance the knowledge about the role of Botulinum toxin in managing spasticity a common condition in neurological rehabilitation.
A dedicated team from Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy, led by Dr. Kalyani, Dr. Amrita, and Dr. Muzahid, provided expert post-run injury management and recovery care to 300+ marathon runners at the Lokmat Maha Marathon 2025. The team, including postgraduate students and interns, actively treated muscle cramps, joint pain, and fatigue, ensuring runners received immediate physiotherapy support. Their expertise played a crucial role in reducing post-race injuries and promoting faster recovery, highlighting the importance of physiotherapy in endurance sports.
Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy celebrated AROHA’24 on 12.09.24. The event is a cultural activity for students, teaching and non teaching staff. Students showed their talent in form of performances like group dance, solo dance, singing, playing instruments and many more. It was a fun and memorable day for everyone.

Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy Nagpur celebrated World Physiotherapy week from 08.09.24 to 10.09.24. Theme of the day was Low back pain. Department of Neurosciences conducted Debate competition on 09.09.24 for PG’s. The topic of debate was Evidence based management of low back pain: Conventional VS Adjunct. The day ended with knowing recent advances related to low back pain in clinical practice. Team A was the winning team and was awarded for the same.

Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy Nagpur organized a exhibition from 11/09/2024 to 16/09/2024 with purpose of Physiotherapy awareness , women empowerment in Shalinitai Meghe Hospital, Nagpur. Students took a initiative for the exhibition and the postings were scheduled for the same. It was a awareness event for people residing nearby. It was a successful event.

Datta Meghe Medical College celebrates inter college cultural event for students and faculty as well. It was celebrated on 14.09.24 from 6 PM onwards in Datta Meghe Auditorium. The evening started with lamp lightning by Hon. Datta Meghe sir and Principals of other colleges. Performances like dance, singing, skit, speeches with theme of Women Empowerment were the highlights of the event. The day ended with vote of thanks.

The celebration was concluded with games, vote of thanks and learned message for everyone.
