DEPARTMENT OF MUSCULOSKELETAL PHYSIOTHERAPY

The cardiorespiratory and thoracic physiotherapy Department of Datta Meghe college of physiotherapy focuses on the interplay between the heart, lungs, and associated structures. It encompasses the study and treatment of conditions affecting these vital organs, such as heart disease, respiratory infections, and thoracic trauma. Physiotherapists in this department employ a range of techniques to address issues such as breathing difficulties, reduced lung capacity, and cardiovascular impairments. Treatment modalities may include respiratory exercises to improve lung function, cardiovascular rehabilitation to enhance heart health, and manual therapy to alleviate thoracic pain and stiffness. These specialists work closely with patients to develop personalized exercise programs tailored to their specific needs and goals.
