A Book Review Competition was successfully conducted on 23rd April 2026 at DMCOP. The event aimed to encourage reading habits, critical thinking, and effective communication among students. Participants presented insightful reviews on a variety of physiotherapy books, highlighting key themes, characters, and personal reflections. The competition showcased students’ analytical skills and creativity, making it an engaging and enriching experience for both participants and the audience.
A Continuing Medical Education (CME) program was conducted on the occasion of World Parkinson’s Day on 11th April 2026 with the theme of “Bridge the Care Gap” at DMCOP. The session aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of Parkinson’s disease among students and professionals, featuring expert talks and interactive discussions. As part of the event, a reel-making competition was also organized to encourage creativity and awareness among students. The winners were awarded trophies and cash prizes, making the event both informative and engaging.
A two-day hands-on workshop on Dry Needling for trigger point management and musculoskeletal dysfunction was conducted to enhance clinical skills and evidence-based practice among participants on 30/3/26 to 31/3/26 at Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy, Nagpur. The sessions included theoretical lectures and practical demonstrations under expert guidance, enabling participants to develop competency in assessment and application techniques. The workshop was well-organized, interactive, and received positive feedback for its clarity, relevance, and skill-oriented approach.
Datta Meghe College Of Physiotherapy Celebrated World Kidney Day In Collaboration With Shalinitai Meghe Hospital & Research Institute Center ,With The Presence Of All Faculty Of Respective Dept Of SMHRCH And Faculty Of Physiotherapy From Cardiorespiratory Dept Has Been Present Followed By The Felicitation Of Our Chief Guest Mr Ravi Meghe Sir And Dr Vasant Gawande ,All Patients And Students Were Enthusiastically Participated In The Program ,Students Played A Skit In Which A Message Has Been Conveyed to all And Also Delivered Speech About The Importance Of Kidney ,They Also Explained That How To Prevent Kidney Diseases By Maintaining A Balance Between Exercise And Diet
Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy conducted an Intern Induction Program (Winter 2026) from 10/03/26 to 10/09/26. The program oriented interns on ethics, clinical practice, documentation, and hospital protocols (OPD/IPD). It was facilitated by a team of faculty under the coordination of Dr. Ira Indurkar. Around 40 interns participated, gaining essential clinical and professional insights.
DMCOP celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 with the theme “Give to Gain.” The event included a Campus Walkathon followed by a cultural program with skits, dance, and singing. The Placard Activity highlighted powerful messages on women’s empowerment. The celebration fostered unity, awareness, and community spirit.
Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy organized a 3-day workshop on Integrated Spinal, Peripheral Joint and Viscera Manual Therapy (ISP VMT) from 12–14 March 2026. The hands-on program focused on postural assessment and osteopathic integration. The session was conducted by Dr. Shailendra Mehta with guidance from Dr. Sachin Chaudhary and Dr. Amrita Sakharwade. Participants gained practical manual therapy skills and clinical insights.
Datta Meghe College of Physiotherapy organized a Career Development Program on March 10, 2026, for final year and intern students. The session focused on higher education opportunities at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. Resource persons explained admission requirements, scholarships, and the application process. Students actively participated and clarified their queries about studying in the UK.

The GFC 25 Cultural Event was conducted on 28th August 2025, engaging around 200–250 students along with faculty members. The event aimed to foster creativity, teamwork, and cultural expression among students. Various performances, including music, dance, and skits, were showcased, reflecting diverse talents. The event was well-organized, with active participation from both students and staff.

A book exhibition conducted by library DMCOP to enhance knowledge and to give them exposure about the latest edition and evidence based practice, to interact with publishers and to promote self directed learning .

A three-day from 3/12/2025 to 5/12/2025 faculty development program was conducted in DMCOP for the physiotherapy faculties from 5 collages , with the eminent speakers from different parts of the world. A three day program includes lectures, activities and learning.
